Certainly Serge Savard is not impressed. The time for talk is over; it's "Show Me" time.

It's been a long time since we've seen Diaz, but I recall a lethal shot from the point and a calm presence in the D-zone, especially in moving the puck out. Observations from another Maritimer. Go Habs Go!

When Emelin went down, I was surprised Beaulieu--not Tinordi--came up to replace him. I could see Beaulieu with his great point shot subbing in for Markov/Subban, but since the Habs needed to replace a physical presence, I would have thought Tinordi would have been a better choice. But I've been wrong before.

Galchenyuk will make all those plays--and more--next year when he adjusts to the speed of the NHL. Remember he's only 19. In his rookie year with the Mooseheads, Nathan MacKinnon held the puck a little too long, dangled once too often, hit the crossbar when he went for the top corner. This year he dazzled and roared up the scoring race. I have faith that Galchenyuk will perform the same way.

Errrrrrrrrrrrr, I believe it was MY fault; I drank coffee from my Habs' mug on game day. Stupid, stupid, stupid!

Interesting comments on Beaulieu whom I saw play in Halifax against the Mooseheads. I marvelled then about his skating ability, his calm in getting the puck out of his own end, and his wonderful first passes. Now he's doing the same for my Habs. I watched Nathan MacKinnon in his first year display awesome skills, but hang onto the puck one move too many. He doesn't do that anymore, either that or his stickhandling has gotten faster. Galchenyuk's development reminds me of MacKinnon. This year he's going one dangle too many; next year, watch out! What a breath of fresh air these kids are.

The man's perception is amazing! That the second goal out of the eleven scored would so significant absolutely boggles my mind. That's why he's the blogger and I'm just a talking head.
