Yeah, all of the great GM's blow up their teams when they're playing well. Who are these big skilled players who are available, and at the same time allow us to dump salary? Tavares for Kaberle and Weber perhaps?

You don't need a top 5 pick to get an excellent player in the first round. The Habs have drafted well in recent years. Winning can only be good for this team, especially it's young players. Don't forget, we have 3 second rounders this year.

I'm well aware players don't read HIO. But Cole is historically a slow starter. So why are we expecting different this year? Because the team is off to a good start? My point is that the team is playing well, so let Cole find his game, because we'll need him in the months to come. I don't want to see a big, fast, offensive player run out of town because of a slow start. Especially when we're off to a great start.
