  You know it's bad when you watch American Idol instead of the Habs game ... glad I did though ... check out Brittany Kerr!... oh man I hope their lottery pick isn't as big a bust as hers.

  Question of the day: When the time comes for our lottery pick do we tote the company line and pick “the best player available”, or do we fill a need like a top line forward with size and finishing skill? There are a lot of d-men projected in the Top 10 of this year’s draft so do we pass up a guy like Dumba or Murray to take a forward? We do have Tinordi and Beaulieu coming up in the next couple years and Diaz and Emelin are coming along nicely now that they’re getting the ice time.

  I haven't posted in a long time, but I feel compelled to now. Possibly the worst deal in the cap-era history of the Habs. Did PG not know that Rutherford was shopping this bum around the entire league with no takers? The big reason was because it's a terrible contract for a washed up player. Now if Car had thrown in a couple picks or a prospect it would be much more palatable. Oh wait ... it's only the Habs that do that (ie. McDonagh). I'm shocked PG didn't throw in Beaulieu on this one. This moves wreaks of desperation ... Habs fans would have been much more accepting to suck up a terrible PP for the year and have the cap room for the next 2.5 years. Seems like common sense to me, but I'm not the GM. Moves like this give me hope that I could get a shot to run the team someday though!!!

  Anyone know where I can buy one of the hats the players wear in the post game interviews? I particularly like the ones I've seen Gorges and Price wearing ... all black with a black Habs logo. Any help would be appreciated!
