    Habs 19 year old Alex Galenchuk scores the only goal in regulation shootout (last shooter #3) to tie & then scores the only goal in extra shots to give Team USA The Bronze Medal over Team Finland. Pretty heady stuff for such a young player who has played Canadian Junior Hockey-World Championship Junior Hockey (Gold Medal)-NHL Hockey (Regular Season/Playoffs) & finishes the hockey season playing in The World Hockey Championships. All coming off a serious knee injury the season before. Montreal Canadiens management & fans worldwide are smiling broadly today as we have a good one now who can only get better.... - Stanley come home.....

    Gallagher was playing right before The Canucks eyes for several years as a junior Vancouver Giant but did not draft him kinda like Montreal not drafting a Quebecer or The Leafs not drafting a player from southern Ontario - Would trade Gallagher but not Tinordi big defense men are too hard to find. See Gallagher more of a Steve Sullivan/Ray Whitney or Theoren Fleury type player as Martin St Louis is a few levels above those listed as he is a hall of famer although Fleury might get lucky & make it to the hall with a lot of lobbying by people since he has cleaned up his life..... - Stanley come home.....

    Thank you for the comments/condolences posted a couple days back concerning the passing of my older brother.Normally I would have not posted anything but since it had something connected to The Montreal Canadiens & hockey(watching the game but more like having the game on in his room) I felt it was it was an appropriate post. Ironically but did not realize at the time my brother passed a few minutes after The Habs were eliminated from the playoffs. My brother was a huge Habs Fan & when we lived in Montreal (Lachine) he used to get standing room tickets at The Old Montreal Forum & make the run up the stairs to get a spot to watch his beloved Habs play. Once again sincere thanks to the folks at The Hockey Inside/Out Community/Family for their comments & condolences – Martin aka otter649…. - Stanley come home.....

    Out west in Port Alberni, BC from Oakville,Ont last night (09) my older brother passed away - Even though The Habs lost the game/series I got to spend time doing something I did quite a bit as a kid-young person-adult watching Habs hockey with my older bro even though he couldn't communicate it was good being in the same room with him with the game on - Thank you Montreal Canadiens for the memories good & bad over the years.... - Stanley come home.....
