  It's like saying you don't "agree" that you require oxygen to survive. It is literally that ridiculous. I'm fine with him having his opinion, but he needs to know his opinion is stupid, illogical, wrong and bigoted.

  Yours isn't an opinion. It's talking out your ass. Key distinction. Under your logic, sperm and egg donors and surrogate mothers don't exist. Except in the real world, they do. So, no need for a heterosexual couple to make a child. All you need is a sperm, an egg, and the magic of science, which, by the way, has proven repeatedly that homosexuality is not a choice.
