He has not committed treason. Treason only applies in a congress declared war where he has given "aid and comfort to the enemy"; a very high legal bar. That being said, Snowden has compromised diplomatic relationships, and done damage to the institutions he took an oath or signed a contract to protect. The NSA collects a lot of info in phone call records, that is true. But on the whole, Google probably knows more about you than the NSA. Snowden is a narcissistic, misguided twenty something who somehow thinks the rules and documents he signed don't apply to him. He works for the NSA...what did he think their business was, when he signed on? Our chief weapons are fear and surprise

Good point - Price is a decent goal tender but he's not worth $6.5 mil. That's Marty F Brodeur territory, and to paraphrase a long ago vice presidential debate between Lloyd Bentsen and Dan Quayle..."you sir are no Marty F Brodeur" Our chief weapons are fear and surprise

Good analysis. Pains me to say, but the Habs are still a small, soft perimeter team. The way they were fading in the last few weeks of a 48 game schedule suggests that in an 82 game schedule they probably wouldn't make the playoffs. We can cry injuries, but that is the consequence of having a small team. Watching a lot of western conference games (Anaheim, LA, Chicago, St Louis) these guys are huge and really fast. It almost looks like a completely different game than watching eastern conference teams maybe with the exception of Pittsburgh Our chief weapons are fear and surprise

We have a team that finished dead last in the conference. If we are truly waiting for the prospects to mature, I can get behind that. Wouldn't mind seeing us pick up a large forward with decent offense, if it makes sense to do so. But I think that with the roster we have, don't look for any drastic moves up the standings. Other teams will get better as well, so I see a few long seasons ahead of us Our chief weapons are fear and surprise

I think we lost last season because we have a very soft D, one decent scoring line and, no complete lines in the bottom 9 forwards, and Carey wasn't lights out every game. Yes, very dysfunctional and poor coaching, but we really have a talent problem. As it stands now, we are icing pretty much the same roster as we did last year. Therrien will probably be able to squeeze a little more out of these guys than either Martin or Cunneyworth (agree he was a lame duck, but also just not a great coach). I am confused by all the sentimentality about keeping players who landed us in 15th spot. Somebody's got to go and I will be disappointed if we don't try to get some help for the second line at least. Our chief weapons are fear and surprise

I would agree with your assessment. Teams with a strong fore check have given us a lot of trouble over the last 10 years. Even more so than more talented teams. Buffalo's fore check last night was very impressive, keeping us hemmed up for long stretches. At one point we were passing the puck behind our own net multiple time only to have a Buffalo winger streak in to pressure our D Man in the corner. Fricking sad. As a U.S. citizen, I wish it weren't so. But I fear that it is. It may not be their entire objection to Pres. Obama, but I believe it is a huge piece of it. Our chief weapons are fear and surprise
