Montreal should make the playoffs next season, but will be in tough to win the division again, especially under the new alignment. Winning the division this season was fun but unexpected and ahead of schedule. The team is still in transition and it won't be done properly overnight. Bergevin will continue to evolve the team as the opportunities present themselves. Some bumps in the road are inevitable, but I expect the majority of his moves to pay off in the long run. The Habs should become a harder team to play against as they evolve. --Go Habs Go!-- - Comment on Rimouski defenceman Morin could be a good fit for Habs at draft
As per capgeek, it seems the cap savings on Briere are only about $2.2M next season and $1.2M the next: http://www.capgeek.com/buyout-calculator/?player_id=749 Bryzgalov would bring much better cap savings in the next 2 seasons (but be a bigger hit in 18/19 and 19/20: http://www.capgeek.com/buyout-calculator/?player_id=1141 --Go Habs Go!-- - Comment on Rimouski defenceman Morin could be a good fit for Habs at draft
Odd then that they called him up to back up Budaj in the last game of the playoffs. --Go Habs Go!-- - Comment on Rimouski defenceman Morin could be a good fit for Habs at draft

Does he need to "protect" his players from a face off against goons like Plekenec, Gionta and Markov? --Go Habs Go!--
