  i too see this the way it really is , the Habs are not a playoff team ,i love them to death but thats the truth. i still feel hopefull that Bergervin will get them there, but for now we cant blame the refs for the fact that this team just doesnt have the size to last a long series and the goaltending ...wow Carey Price has a long way to go to prove his potential!! and even the coaching staff have some to learn. i hope the habs can pull out another win, buts lets be real ,this team is not going anywhere. not this year

  here is how it will go , if Habs win tonight they will go onto win the series in six or seven games! mark my words. but if they lose tonight then all players aside this will be up to Therien to make the correct moves to get back into it!!! This is a Big test for these players - Plecs ,Gionta,Ryder and Rene ,if we falter it will be at their hands

  ok , so i like this team a hell of a lot more than the last year squad...But they are still too small to go for a long run ! The playoff game like atmosphere against the Leafs last weekend proved that, however they are a lot better ... mostly by the fact the everybody is contributing ( a coaches dream ) But the true tell of this season will be once they have all those road games under thier belt!!!!! with out the line change advantage i,m afraid that the Habs skill will neutralized by the other teams coach , and thus exposing once again that for the most part this team is "skilled" yes but not able to handle the riggers of the physical play . hope i,m wrong

  ha , love that idea. however , and trust me i hope i,m correct.. i have a feeling that Gomer will actually have good year... new management , new coach , new line mates , and most of all the pressure to perform or head home and crab fish.

  thats my take as well , from what i have learned in buisness over the years , it is common to try and budget only 40 -45 % on payrole , clearly the players are playing a game here of posturing . But it is posible that the owners are inflating thier costs as well to cry hard times.
