Bonne fête, Mr. Béliveau! Thanks for everything you have done and continue to do for Habs Nation - you're the best!

As a Habs fan who has been a Capitals season ticket holder the last two seasons (and who is pulling for the Habs in this series, just to be clear), I had strong doubts about Theodore when the Caps originally signed him. However, he has been stellar this year. Has he let in some soft goals? Yes. But has he also had some terrific games? Absolutely. IMHO a goodly portion of the goals scored against the Caps with Theo in net can be attributed to defensive breakdowns - if there is any deficiency that MTL can exploit in this series, defense is the best option and the Caps' biggest weakness.
As an additional comment re: Theodore, he could be a bit rusty on Thursday given how much playing time Boudreau has given to Varlamov of late.
Just my two cents (from someone whose license plate will make her very unpopular in the DC area in the next few days, LOL).

Happy Birthday, Henri! I sure wish I could have seen you play. Lesley, Shippensburg, PA - Comment on Tell us where you're from, Habs fans
Born in KS - my parents bought a satellite dish when I was 13, and it always carried the Montreal games on Saturday nights... I had never before seen hockey and I was utterly entranced. I'm now in southcentral Pennsylvania (and proudly wore my Habs jersey to the Flyers/Habs game last night - it was so great to see so many from Habs nation there, loud and proud). FYI Spezza did play last night but he didn't do a whole lot... I haven't checked the stats for his ice time but there wasn't anything especially notable out of him. The Caps lost Nylander for the year so their game plan would have changed as well. - Comment on Game 45: Habs beat Isles with better N.Y. effort
We were at the Caps/Sens game tonight (rooting on the Caps to beat the Sens and help us get some points back, of course!) and, while Ovechkin scored once, he wasn't a huge part of their win. What it looked like to us was simply that the Caps put together 60 solid, plucky minutes of hockey, stayed on the Sens throughout the game, and stayed consistent throughout. Very few big mistakes. If the Habs would play with that level of consistency and motivation every game, we'd be in terrific shape; Boudreaux has really done a terrific job since taking over. And if you see the highlights, watch out for Alexander Semin's unassisted goal against Emery... it was truly a thing of beauty. :-) - Comment on Game 41: Capitals edge Habs in overtime
