I woke up early today and I'm still buzzing about last night's victory! What a great feeling. Really happy with the play of the young man in nets. Carey Price kept the team alive with some great saves, and the the team showed resilience and won in regulation! Nice!
On a side note... Happy that Halak won his game too.

I'm not going to dump on or praise Price. He's the product of circumstance. IMO he was rushed into the NHL, and had a great start until 2 things happened. 1. His weak glove side was exposed, and he continually gets picked apart there. 2. His young age (immature/partying).
Last night for me, was a chance to see Rask vs. Price. Both broke into the league in the same year I believe, and both are about the same age. The huge difference is circumstance. Boston chose to keep grooming Rask, whereas the Habs rushed Price. Hopefully he can somehow overcome, and with time become the goalie I was so excited about just a few years back.
