  So Mr Genius, you think it's ok for other teams to play dirty, use their goons to rough up on our little skilled guys after each whistle, but you're "too good" to return the favor? It's buffons like you that think the Habs are "above" all of that... well, I'd like to think so too. But we don't live in that world... instead, it's guys like Neil running after the Gally's...   I honestly think this is part of our problem right now... we let other teams take liberties, but we retaliate in a "classy" way. "Hey, Mr Neil... I saw you just mangled our young rookie, would you like to fight real quick so we can show the world we are standing up for each other the right way?". Gimme a break... I think it's time the Habs joined the rest of the league and started playing dirty.   Once again, I don't understand what the guys or the coaches were thinking. I mean, they were angry at falling behind, they were angry at PK getting hit in the face with no call, at Eller getting run the way he did... ok, fine. Be angry. Wanna get them back? For the love of everything Holy, why would you put out Armstrong, Cube, White and others to go fight their big guys? THIS IS WHAT THEY SHOULD DO: When Neil is putting Gally in a headlock, and roughing up a kid half his size, send Prust out there on the next shift when Turris or Karlson is out, and have him do the same to them. Or send out White to run Alfie the next time one of their goons hits our smaller guys. If I were coach, I would send out a guy to plaster one of their skilled guys (Turris, Zibanejad) with a dirty hit to the head, and knock them out of the series like they did Eller... so we get a 2 game suspension for Moen/White, who cares... get back at them the way they treat us. THEY WANT US TO GO AFTER THEIR BIG GUYS... because they have an edge in that department. But you don't need an edge if you're playing dirty. Am I the only one to see things this way? And please, save me the "we are above that style of play blah blah blah..."   It's funny, I saw the same clip of Prust and Bourque and thought the same thing... how close these guys are, and how hard they can play for each other. Ryan White... what a night!   I'm so pumped for the playoffs... bring on the Sens! I hope everyone is taking a moment to savor our season so far... from the basement, to winning our division and finishing 2nd in the conference... way to go boys! I think we'll give the Sens all they can handle.. if we play like we did for most of the season (not including the horrible 2-week stretch at the end), then they won't be able to handle our depth. I really loved this line from Stubbs' article: “We mix well together,” Eller said of his linemates, these three guys soon to collectively grow the worst playoff beards in the history of facial hair. Gotta love the young blood! People keep talking about our "future"... a big chunk of it has arrived. Just think, in 3 years time our core group will be: Price in goal Pk, Tinordi, Beaulieu on D Gally, Chucky, Eller, Max, and Pleks up front.   Ok, I hate posting these speculative trade scenarios... but please indulge me this one: PK for Tavares - straight swap We get Tavares, a solid 40-50 goal guy, who could play on the top line (centered by Chucky?) for the foreseeable future. They get a Norris caliber D, who instantly becomes the face of the franchise, and can put some asses into the empty seats they have.
