  We were beaten by a better, bigger and tougher team. We have great heart, but are too soft and small and cannot stand up to most of these teams at playoff time as injuries just mount up. Season was a pleasant surprise, however, when it counted we failed plain and simple. A big job lays ahead for our teams management and I wish them well. I'll be happy when the Laffs are out then hoping the Sens do well.

  While I wish we would win the Cup but the realist in me says it's time for the boys to bring out their (golf) clubs. We are a physically beaten club and any prolonging of this series could risk serious injury. One of the problems as I see it is we are, and have been for years, a very fragile team. Our players try to act out the "tough" role, however, in this new NHL size matters and most of our players cannot stand up to the physical pounding from players much bigger than us. Just look around, Ottawa, Toronto and Boston plus most of the other teams. MB......take a look and start working on it. MT....your "plan" seemed to work during the very short season but failed miserably in the opening round...hope you have a better one for the full season next year. Oh, and show a little class and drop the "dour" expression during the post game interview as well as the constant excuses blaming refs and coaches. I never did like you!!!! GO HABS GO.....next year.

  More crying about the refs, geez, give yourselves a break. The best team won. We're done, stick a fork in them. From first place to first out. Definately outcoached. If anyone thinks this team will finish first next year then let me in on what you're drinking. I hope these players are traded; Bourque, DD, Diaz, Markov, Gionta and White. I hope these players are not re-signed; Armstrong, Ryder and Halpern. For the last 10 games and these 4 playoff games MT is in over his head....for sure no Jack Adams there.

  Quit whinning about the ref...not the reason we are not winning. Hard to believe we came first this year, we look lost. No doubt who coach of the year is...............

  Still can't figure out why we at times try to "goon" it up and against teams that are tougher than us, which is most teams. My suggestions are; - shut up MT (that's why you were fired) - shut up PK or you will get killed. - shut up Gallagher and just play (get rid of that silly grin it just pisses the opposition off. - use spill and speed as we lack toughness big time - don't take cheap penalties MB in the off season; - get some toughness ( not goons) - trade White, he's a little fiesty but for a "tough" guy he's too small and looses most fights. - DD must go, a waste of a lot of cash - bigger, stronger defense - Gionta, Ryder all finished..goodbye Lots more but going to watch the game
