As much as I love harkening back to the halcyon days when the Habs actually won the cup, wouldn't the fan base be better served by more content on this site reflecting draft analysis, prospect development, and looking at the UFA market. I get the history and tradition side of things, but we have a team now.

Any thoughts on picking up Arnott as a UFA. Maybe some good veteran leadership for a potential playoff run if Gallie and boys can score. Good role model for Eller too. But, I don't know where he could fit in. Just seems like the kind of character that's needed in this dressing room.

Any thoughts on picking up a guy like Brian Rolston on re-entry waivers? Given he is definitely past his prime, he has good size and could be a cheap pickup for a top-six forward to get us through the season. We could use a guy like him in front of the net. We have some cap room to play with, so 2.5mil wouldn't be a huge hit.
