The favoritism shown to Boston has been unbelievable. I can't recall seeing a Stanley Cup champion getting the schedule to start that season that the Bruins have received. 14 of the first 17 at home?? No back-to-back games until game 21? Is it any wonder they have won 8 straight with that schedule? Combine that with the fact that the Bruins are not punished for ANYTHING, and you have some pretty blantant bias against the Goons. The great Bruins "fans" can talk all they want about opposing fans whining, but in reality, most Bruins fans are bandwagon jumpers and are not true hockey fans. They know nothing about hockey beyond their team. Trust me, I know since I was born and bred in Boston. Plus, the Bruins fands get all their info from the WORST broadcaster in sports - Jack Edwards. The only good news is that other teams around the league are seeing what the Goons are getting away with (Chara hit, middle finger, water bottle, running Miller, etc.). Hopefully, no team will show them any respect. They certainly don't deserve any. Go Habs Go!

The Bruins were lucky to get out of that playoff series against us last spring (even with their team healthy and the Habs pretty depleted). If Pacioretty had played, does anyone not think he would have been good for a couple of goals the way he was playing? With three games decided in overtime, he would have been the difference. That series doesn't go 7 games with Pacioretty in the lineup, and the bruins would have cleaned house.

All totally true. Jeremy Jacobs is one of the most influential people in all of hockey. I'm sure that had nothing to do with the Bruins' preferential treatment! It was embrassing. Oh, but don't Bruins fans this. This team is the best ever - a good and virtuous team that never does anything wrong. hahaha As for the goonery, that is what the Bruins fans want and like. They cheer more for fights than when a goal is scored. I live here, and trust me, these fans don't care about real hockey.

Hahahaha This is a funny post. Nothing before 1990 counts? Riiiiiiight. Tell Bobby Orr that next time you see him at the Garden! Moron. Typical ignorant Bruins fan. Being a Bostonian, I see this idiocy all the time. You know what's even more amusing? The Bruins win the cup, and the fans have nothing better to do than to go on Habs websites and post. Losers!

DelawareHab, I feel your pain. I have the Center Ice package, but as a Bostonian, I have to watch the games vs. the Bruins on NESN. As someone who has heard all the announcers through the Center Ice package, Jack Edwards is far and away the worst play-by-play guy in the league. He's an embarassment and an over-the-top homer. I long for the day that this guy is sent packing. He is painful.

I agree with you. This management IS arrogant, and there have been several examples of this. And, you are probably right about AK46 and Gomez. Why would they be traded anyway - they never get benched for poor performances.

It's the same with Eller. The guy is just not producing. He can't score, and what he really needs is more seasoning down in the minors. But, management starts him every game because they want to show how great the Halak trade was. Why mess with this guy's development?
