Hey Timo, thanks for your detailed response re Shaw and Bell. Is Bell offering the pkg in HD for the $60? Anyway I will let you know how my adventures with tweedle dee and tweedle dum go. Happy viewing in the great Canadian west. The rule is perfect: in all matters of opinion our adversaries are insane. Mark Twain

My latest feedback in my never-ending struggle to watch Habs games this year... The confused woman at Shaw with whom I tried to have a meaningful conversation regarding the $60 RDS blackout-lifted pkg, finally told me that her company has not picked up that particular Rogers offering. Assuming she is not just making that up because the whole thing is baffling to her, I am forced to consider my only alternate provider, Bell. Before I go wading into the morasse of what to do about existing contracts, PVRs etc. can anyone tell me if Bell has picked up the blackout-lifted pkg.? I am also interested in knowing if there is anyone out there with Shaw who has had a different result than I. I am guessing that when all is said and done I will become just one more victim of the Bettman/Rogers conspiracy known as Centre Ice. Thanks Luke, for the link and explanation. Are you unable to get the blackout-lifted RDS games? Where are you and who’s your provider? Posted this above also. Not sure how I managed that????? The rule is perfect: in all matters of opinion our adversaries are insane. Mark Twain

Are you sure Cal? Could be my increasingly enfeebled mental faculties, but I thought I had picked up a City broadcast earlier in the season. The rule is perfect: in all matters of opinion our adversaries are insane. Mark Twain

This question is for the confused masses west of Belleville. Is there any way of knowing which City broadcasts will be blacked out in advance of the game airing? This question is for Shaw customers west of Belleville. Has anyone been able to successfully pick up the 60 blacked out RDS games through Shaw? Saw your earlier post, and am watching with interest to see if anyone responds. I'm also a Shaw subscriber...my only choice. Viewing the guide I notice the caveat that "blackouts may be in effect". No idea who or why. So far I've been able to watch all the games on Sportsnet, Sportsnet 360 or City. That's all I can tell you. And yes, Shaw has no idea what's going on regarding the supposed lifting of the RDS blackout west of Belleville. All very frustrating. I think the only safe bet is to move to Montreal. The rule is perfect: in all matters of opinion our adversaries are insane. Mark Twain
