    hahahaha...I WISH I was Pierre Gauthier! At least then I would be getting his salary!!!!  No my friend, I am but a fan, but one who believes that if we are ever to CONSISTENTLY (5 consecutive years or more) compete for the Cup, we have to sink lower than we are to rise up. Not because that is what any team has to, but that is what a team that has had "lost" draft years must do, as we did for much of the past 15 - 20 years...

    To all you whiners, cryers, and flat-out boneheads, I dedicate this song to you. Honestly, it is so clear how people are blinded by the WIN-LOSE measure of success, no one realizes how difficult and how wicked-intelligent you have to be to be a GM in the NHL this year. Yes, some do it better, some worse. Yes, Montreal has struggled of late. But do people realize how few people are actually qualified to do this job? Go read the "CBA for Dummies" and enjoy feeling like a real numbnut because the ACTUAL CBA is even MORE complicated.

    Easy answer for all you guys: allow the Habs to bottom out like the Pens, Caps and 'Hawks so they can draft higher and build over. Whoops, not ready to do that? Then go look in the mirror and sing this song to yourself:

    at the end of the day, what do they expect from a guy that is making so little? Why on Earth are they waving Boyd when a MUCH bigger concern should be the play of Spacek and Gomez, who have both earned time in the press box, almost every game this year! Coach Martin - grow some cajones, please!

    And yes, please, enough with Maxime Lapierre.

    I do not know about you guys, but I sure as heck hope that the players, coaches and management write an apology to Carey Price sometime in the near future.

    This week's two games are a perfect example of how this team has this "belief" that Price has super-human powers and needs no support.

    They give him a 2-0 after 55 minutes, he keeps them in it during that time even when they suck, and then some kinda penny drops in their brains: "We are up 2-0, we have "The next Roy" (thanks for creating the label, BG), there is only 5 minutes left. Let's shell up and sit on our heels, take a penalty, collapse around the net, get outcoached, play a sloppy box, and then, once they are within one, put on our BIG OFFENSIVE LINE to hold back the onslaught."

    Last night against Florida? 2-0 lead after 54 minutes, disciplined (no 5 penalties in a row), keep pushing them offesively after they pull within one by playing sound defense, outcoaching them, making the right changes (Pleks with SK74 and Moen, not AK46 and Cammy, tabernouche!!!), and when the opportunity arises, banging the puck off the boards and out for not one but two empty-netters. There you go, Jaro, take another win.

    I am not saying Jaro is better, or that the team is solely responsible for his wins. He is SOLID. I want to keep BOTH. But fric-frac, we need to get this team thinking they have to play 60 minutes, EVERY night, no matter who is nets. Heaven forbid, but what if Jaro goes down injured? Do they fold??

    Drives me crazy. Change the mentality of the team and coaches, never mind management: Carey is no God. He is a young goalie with lots of talent who, just like Roy, needs a team to play a solid, sound game in front of him for 60 minute-plus.

    'nuff said. Bring on the Devils. I hope it is Price vs. Brodeur, and the guys go for 60 minutes and Price plays like he did on Wednesday. If they do, we win.

    I've started a Facebook page to gather momentum on needing something to change. Granted, someone should have done this BEFORE Max got hurt, but sometimes it takes a hit close to hom for us to act. Come join, and boycott the next Habs-Bruins game on TV.
