WOW Michael Whalen telling Michael Ryder how to play hockey in the interview. "For you Michael, what you have to do is shoot because that's the name of the game for you." If I was Ryder, I would have given Whalen a stick and asked him for a demonstration.

This was deja vu all over again from Dec.6, these 2 teams last meeting before tonight. Montreal got out to a 3-0 lead before Boston cut it to 3-2, just like tonight. And then here's the real crazy stat. Dandenault scored to make it 4-2 in that game, Dandy scores in this game to make it 4-2 and then adds the 5-2 goal. When I saw him score that 4th goal, I freaked out.

THIS IS THE NIGHT FOR RYDER TO BREAK OUT!!! LIGHTNING ARE GOING DOWN THE CRAPPER AND THEIR GOALIE IS TERRIBLE!! IF RYDER HAS ONE OF THOSE 6-7 SHOT GAMES THAT HE'S HAD THIS YEAR, 1 OR 2 ARE BOUND TO GO IN.

Even if Huet got the win tonight, Price would have probably started in Dallas due to the back-2-back night games.

Koivu's looking great again when he has the puck. For the first month, he was so great dishing it out front to guys like Higgins, hence all his assists. And then from about mid-November to Mid-December, he looked so bad. He never won the battles for the puck. When he got the puck, he would throw blind passes away and the other team came out of the zone. All of the sudden, last Thursday against Philly, he started gaining some of that offensive confidence back and then he broke out last Saturday against Toronto. Tonight, he was making some great moves behind the net and he battled for the puck to get it to Sergei for the first goal. So if you want to take something positive from this game, it is that Captain K is back. P.S. Saku, you must get a new shootout move
