  You're absolutely right about this... Actually, I think that is what Gauthier had in mind when decided to stay with Price. His numbers were bad, but he showed that he can be a great goaltender, that he learned a lot this season, and that he has the talent and age to develop into an amazing goalie.

  Man, you need to bash on Price in order to support your argument on Halak?

  You really know nothing about hockey

  Halak is the guy so far, he's been simply AMAZING... is he going to play in a superhuman way forever? No, last night proved it.

  He is a guy on extremes, when on the zone, he's unbeatable, but when he's not in one of his days he can really look bad out there.

  That been said, in my opinion, the team needs to keep both goalies for at least one more season. Price has learned more this season than the other three together, but still has to improve. And Halak still hasn't proved that he can carry the whole workload of the team.

  Gainey has been in the press box every game, sitting next to Gauthier... so he's still involved. As a matter of fact, he did a genius move. He moved away from the spotlight, away of the pressure of the media and the fans... but he still runs part of the show behind the curtain...

  He made a lot of mistakes? yes, but he also made some nice moves. This team is his team.

  Specially with your opinion on Halak been the only talented guy in the team. I respect your opinion but I think you're wrong...

  Halak has talent, so does Price, and Cammalleri, Gomez, Gionta, Subban and a looong etc.

  I also find funny people think this is PG's team, that Gainey has nothing to do with the current team... Did anyone see him sit next to Gauthier for game one?.... just sayin..

  That was weird. At first I did see the picture of Halak wearing the white jersey (the photo included Markov) but then I hit refresh et voila, the pic of Jaro, in red, stopping Laich... I guess it was some sort of cache thing. I noticed the filename for both pictures was halaksave.jpg
