Buffalo are one of the more dangerous teams out there right now. They turned the corner on summit weekend. Proudly serving CHryptonite since 63

To any Bell Expressvu subscribers out there who didn't bother with RDS this year... If you're like me and have a favorites list and rarely go to the "all sub" or "all hd" channel listings RDS 1880 is free right now. I've setup my timer to record 24CH Good times! "wonder how many other players fell off the treadmill, never to be heard from again, accidents of history." UCE My dad was one of those by choice. Drafted by the Jr Habs in the mid 50's he would have come in right between Beliveau and LaFleur. I have newspaper clippings of his heroics (very much in the Rocket mold) He was a lock to make the team but refused to report to Shawinigan when Pollack called him in to tell him of his promotion. He had just met my Mom and gained employment and a better paycheck at Northern Electric. The rest is history. My uncle was the official scorer at the forum in the early 60's and was offered the job of PA announcer. He got my Dad the job as official scorer and I remember going to Jr Habs games at the forum and watching from the pressbox (I was 5) Great times, and oh what could've been had he followed his hockey career (but then, I wouldn't be here to tell you the story) Proudly serving CHryptonite since 63

Weaver showing how it's done yet again. Hope we keep him beyond retirement in a coaching capacity I'll take "Swap 2 letters" for $2000 Alex... Q: Swap the first and 4th letters of this Habs defender's last name with an L and a d to arrive at his role in the locker room. A: Spats - Who is Weaver? (Weaver=Leader) Correct for $2000! Not trying to be cryptic friend. And dirty oil has a bit role in the current theatre of the absurd. The Neo Cons are a collective of cold war mentality rich white dudes loyal to the US Dollar, Saudi Arabian oil and Israel. The big picture is a shifting global scene where Ukraine is the prize. It has a lot to do with preserving the US dollar as world reserve currency backed by Saudi petro dollars and continuing Israeli dominance in the hood. Many are beginning to wonder why ISIS kills muslims but isn't going after Isreal or Saudi Arabia. Too much to share in this limited space. But bottom line, the central bank of central banks (the BIS) has been warning that our real estate is overvalued by 30-50% and that this was coming but it hasn't been reported in western media. If you own property in Calgary and are living paycheque to paycheque, you're going to have some nervous times ahead. If you're hunkered down for the long haul and have plenty of equity built up, you'll survive, but your property will likely never be worth more than it was about a month ago... Just my opinion but I've been paying attention for 6 years. Proudly serving CHryptonite since 63

Hands up if you'd rather watch the predictable Toronto Maple Leafs fall instead of the unpredictable Toronto Stock Exchange! The Oilers have been following the Oil Sands plunge, let's hope the the Leafs follow if the TSX continues to slide (or not, I'm not picky about why the Leafs fall as long as they do...) Seriously though, some frightening times ahead in Oilberta. If you haven't been paying attention, the Neo Cons are trying to put Poutine out of business. Oilberta is as collateral damage. Pity the house horny in Calgary (some of them are my family) who have to have it all now and pay for it later. Proudly serving CHryptonite since 63

So many emotional folks here. Sure we want them to win 82 games then go 16-0 in the playoffs but c'mon! The reg season is now training camp for the 2nd season. We will make it in and then anything can happen (like the other team losing its #1 goaltender) It's rare that any team cruises through the regular season without Jean Beliveau, so out of respect, let's dial it down a little and focus on making the playoffs. Remember the Kings barely getting in then riding Quick a few years back? Entirely possible even with our old slow D (although, I suspect a few of them will be gone by the playoffs and our Hamilton boys will be ready - including Pateryn) RIP Gros Bill - ignore the whining here on Terra Firma Proudly serving CHryptonite since 63

Here's a great video that helped me lose the pain in a day. Seriously! Read the comments 1.4 million views too. I have regained all my strength but still have the numbness down the back of my leg and into my foot... 18 months and counting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLdUHiJhvGM Once you're feeling better, you can do it against a wall (it gets tough on the elbows and shoulders to keep pulling on your leg) put your butt against the wall, assume the cross leg position then push your good leg against the wall to achieve the same stretch. Good luck Proudly serving CHryptonite since 63
