You can't be serious. It doesn't matter who they were drafted before/after because hindsight isn't exactly a fair way to measure draft choices. I think a fair way to measure is that Kostitsyn is a productive member of our NHL team while David Fischer IS NOT. I for one am happy that Gomez is returning. This team is stronger with him than without him. He is better at faceoffs than both DD and Eller, and much, much better defensively than DD. Scott Gomez has always been one of my favorite players. I like how he is honest and funny with the media, and most of all I like how he shows he cares when it really matters. No, not in "important season games", but in the playoffs. Just look at every playoff game he has ever played, the guy is on another level in the playoffs. Hoping he keeps up that trend this year.
