- Comment on Habs will go with four alternate captains this season (2014-09-15 18:32:33)
Honour Lapierre or Corson for all I care..... Just please get rid of the torch thing or torch a Bruins and Leafs shirt at centre ice to make it interesting. Please no passing of the torch ever again.
- Comment on AUDIO: Former Habs captain Saku Koivu announces his retirement (2014-09-10 20:19:59)
Eller new contract... http://www.montrealgazette.com/sports/hockey/montreal-canadiens/Habs+Eller+gets+fresh+start+with/10192120/story.html

HAHA...Almost lost my coffee out of my nose!
- Comment on New TV package aimed at Habs fans across country (2014-09-03 23:06:35)
$60 for NHL Centre Ice, 60 games, and I can catch the remaining 42 habs games on nationally broadcasted stations. I will now sleep better tonight....damn didn't think not being able to watch every habs game was this stressful. So for those of us on Rogers in TO, I guess we owe a thanks to NHL and Rogers.... Sign me up!
- Comment on Habs ink three-year deal with Sportsnet for regional TV coverage (2014-09-03 21:13:34)
Habs fan here, living in Laff land, yes TO. Rogers Cable subscribers: "If you are a subscriber to Rogers home internet, or Rogers wireless and have a data plan, GameCentre Live is free for you until December 31st, 2014. In addition to that, if you would like to subscribe to only the 60 Habs games that RDS will carry next season, you can do so for just $59.99" from what Rogers is telling me this also extends to NHL Centre Ice. This is where the confusion will probably happen...Gamecentre Live, NHL Centre Ice on cable etc. Cheaper than ordering the french channels to include RDS which was $6-$8 per month. Does this make us happy? I will miss Antichanbre, the Et le buts calls, but this seems like a good deal in order to catch the non-national broadcasted games. UPDATE: Called Rogers: NHL Centre Ice stand alone HD on Rogers Cable 60 Habs games and senaturds games. $60! Can i get a whoop whoop. "Get access to up to 37 out-of-market games per week to follow your favourite teams and players! Between October 8 - 14, all Digital TV subscribers (on select carriers) can enjoy free access to NHL Centre Ice." The $59.00 package will be available to order Oct 15th.
- Comment on Habs’ Subban expects arbitrator to decide on his contract (2014-08-01 10:20:31)
MB to PK: How much do you want? PK: hmmm MB: DONE! He is the best thing that has happened to the Habs in a long time. Sign him now, sign him big! Getir done
- Comment on Fans pack Bell Sports Complex to watch final scrimmage at development camp (2014-07-14 13:19:26)
Lets see: Moen - Fighting days are over. Prust - Shoulder is an issue, not sure we want him fighting. Tinordi - Sure lets throw our Rookie into that role. Funny how this site can be jeckyl and hyde from year to year. The years we didn't have someone to protect our players everyone was up in arms. Lets face it, it is still a requirement. Having someone that can fight and put up 10 points a year would be great, but far and few between. We need a tough guy. I hate the staged fights, what i'd like to see is someone that can be thrown out when the tough get going....someone runs Price as an example, don't fight their tough guy, go after that player. Players will think twice about doing that crap again.
- Comment on Former Hab Ryan White looking for a new team (2014-07-05 08:46:42)
On White.... I liked him. He could skate, win face offs and would be willing to drop gloves if necessary. I feel he got through his stupid penalty phase but never really got a second chance. I would take him over Moen at this point, good luck to him.

Glad for you that it has calmed a bit.... Glad for me because I am flying out tomorrow morning into Halifax for a golf trip. Stay safe
- Comment on Gionta, Gorges headed to Sabres; Habs sign Malhotra, Weaver and others (2014-07-03 14:22:06)
Not interested in going back 10 pages but is this new or old news? Former NHL player Alex Kovalev has announced his retirement. Kovalev last played in the NHL with the Florida Panthers during the 2012-13 season and spent last season with Swiss second-tier team EHC Visp. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=456359 Didn't like his work ethic but man could he dangle and shoot. One of my favourite Habs of all time.
