  Umm, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on a couple of points Hobbie. I've been in Calgary since '96 and most winters are quite favorable compared to other areas of the country. Chinooks do blow through frequently, snow hardly lasts and it rarely gets below -35. But I definitely do agree with you that the summers are definitely not very summery...too short and not hot enough.
