    I also understand enough French to get by (most often), but I tell you, I much prefer to watch RDS and understand some of the commentary, than to watch the CBC's Hockey Night in Canada with Bob Cole, and the rest of the boston / Toronto lovers. Every time I turn on a Canadiens game on CBC, withn 10 minutes I'm yelling at the announcers for being so biased and I get pissed off and switch to RDS. My French isn't that good, but my blood pressure is better... As for which French commentators / colour man is talking, I guess I'm ok with anyone since I only get parts of the converstation anyways. An Anglo's thoughts on the topic. I"m just appreciative that there's an alternative to listening to CBC's Hockey Night in Canada! Jay. 25 is a nice round number...waiting patiently

    No surprise that the Bruins got another in a long list of passes. It must be nice to have daddy Campbell watching out for you. This year more than most, I've really started disliking the NHL product and where it's heading. First, the league is only giving lip service at best to protecting it's players, and second there is such inconsistency in the calls (including the Bruins getting special treatment) across the league. Now that the Canadiens are out, I've lost all interest. This is the first time this has occurred! What a joke of a league - and they wonder why the NHL can't grow its fan base... 25 is a nice round number...waiting patiently

    I just went to Gravatar.com, signed up and uploaded an avatar (a couple of minutes ago). I understand it can take some time to have it ported to other sites (such as Hockey Inside/Out). I'm waiting patiently... Just had to edit my post - within the time of typing my post, my avatar was uploaded to Hockey Inside/Out. Very impressed with the speed of the avatar setup.     Is there anyway to have a vote of non-confidence for Bettman and Campbell, to have them removed (forcefully) from the NHL?

    The players should do this on their own behalf through the players association, or they should go on strike.  Their lives are in danger in the NHL under these two idiots.

    I agree with JR's comments on the PK / Richards topic.  If Richards wants to drop the gloves with PK, then that would be fine.  But, to make threats and whine about the how a player has talked to him...that just sounds like Richards is crying.

     

    I have no idea who would win a dust up between Richards and PK, but I wouldn't consider it disrespectful if that occurred.

     

    I really enjoy the way PK plays, and think that he adds to the leagues highlight real - raising the bar on "talent" in the NHL - not thuggery.  I have no interest in having PK tone it down, as I would see that as a step back to the NHL prior to the lockout - a step in the wrong direction where games were won by intimidation, clutching and grabbing, and not talent.
