Problem is that's basically Desharnais, Gionta and Plekanec. If we only had one like that sure, but imagine having 4 guys like that in the top 6 eventually.... yikes.

There was always a tried and true tradition of the smaller guys in the NHL drawing a line in the sand with stickwork rather than fisticuffs. In one way, I'm not sure it's so much worse either... when you're talking about trying to send a message "don't try that again kid". Ironically the jab to the face is probably the much more dangerous play than the little Bobby Clarke to the calf, poor baby.

Maybe get him and Tinordi in an Austin Mini together then drive it through a highly electromagnetic field with tinfoil hats on, see if they fuse into one entity.

It plays into the Habs' favor that the Bruins think they won because of the tough stuff. Reality is, next time the Habs score 4 PP goals and still lose will probably be in 17 years. We can only hope the rest of the B's are as delusional as Marchand. Once again we see the double standard with PK where there are 3-4 guys that are that chirpy on every team but.... they're white.
Anyhow, it still would be nice to see some toughness at the trade deadline... what would you give up for Andy Sutton and Geoarge Parros?
