Hi Mike, Great read,as always !! My only complaint - Reading your blog, my only access to the live game [ i live in New Zealand ] , What is the SCORE??. I had to go to tsn to find out it was 4-1... To the ongoing question of fighting in hockey ; If you don't want to fight, just take off your helmet. Seems simple to me.. When i first was watching NHL they didn't wear helmets, ha ha Thanks again , for providing a great recap of the night's game. Cheers, tom

Of course, we should cheer for the Canadian team , and be very happy not to be playing the Bruins in the first round (again). Let the Leafs deal with them for a change, and we can focus on fast & good hockey...I love the coaches line.." We don't feel the pressure,we apply the pressure" Classic. I claim it as my H/O signature. Just have to figure out how to do it... I'll give it a go. Just to say , all of you who can't wait till thurs. to watch the Habs, I have to wait till Friday, Ha ha.. NZ. time... What to do?

As an aside , Back to the Expos. Was at THEIR FIRST GAME EVER, at Jarry Park , and managed to get down behind the Backstop, to the good seats, just like the good, & old days at the Mtl. Forum, when you could skip down past the ushers to the Reds if you were a young& brash, teen. Always a fan, go Habs.

Dear Johnie, That was the funniest thing i've read on Habs inside /out since i,ve been here. A long time reader, and sometimes commenter.

Timo, Not everyone can control what happens out there. It was a great game to watch, exciting, end to end. We outshot them and turned it around on face-offs. For True Habs fans, although losing in OT, we came back twice, and got a point. Not too shabby against one of the best teams in the league. What is your excuse??

From what i'm hearing ( not being party to watch ), it sounds like the refs suck, all round. What else is new, i say ?? If the refs were accountable for their consistency, would it make a difference ? (actually , they are , as only the best ranked ones make it to the finals) There have been too many things to work out in a short time , Schedules, travel, ice time, for everyone to get on the same page . Everyone is just getting back into it again, so just chill. Did the refs work ahl games as the lockout dragged on, to be in game shape? No pre- season for them ,either. Here's hoping we can make the play-offs this year, cause one never knows what can happen... and that's all i want to say about that..

Remember the Chelios trade, Habs fans, or LeClaire & Desgardins (Sp), plus throw-in Lemieux for Dr. Rechi.... Be very careful what you ask for,my friends....
