  I thought I read somewhere that next to yellow, red was the 2nd quickest colour that the human eye spots out. I am pretty sure that is why Marc-Andre Fleury went from using all yellow pads to white. I remember some eye doctor from Ottawa sent Fleury a letter during the playoffs 2 years ago with the studies and he switched over.
