  My sister and I are going to the game tonight with my dad.  I'm super excited!  It's been a few years since my dad's been to a game & he was reluctant to go when I 1st invited him.  He's in his 70's now and I think the "process" of getting to the game seemed a bit tiring but I also think he's a little excited too.

  My dad took me to numerous games at the Joe when I was young.  He'd always get the standing room only tickets for just a few bucks through the union at work.  Great memories...

  Well, they're not great seats but we won't be standing tonight - except when we're celebrating a few Habs goals. :)

  It's one thing for Cherry to make comments like "he'll get his" or "he better watch his back" because most of us will just chalk it off to him being a senile old man, but Mike Richards comments come purely out of frustration & it's actually a little bit embarrassing.  To suggest that ""something might happen to him if he continues to be that cocky" is brutal.  Seems to me he's calling on someone ("I'm not saying I'm going to do it") to try to take Subban out.  How's that for respect?

  What is it specifically that Richards doesn't like about P.K.'s attitude?  Honestly, I really don't get it.  Is P.K. better than a lot of people?  Yes.

  Can you come in as a rookie and play hard?  Yes, not only can you, it's expected of you.

  And what really does he expect someone on his team to address?  "Listen P.K., you think you're a good hockey player.  Stop that".  Instead, I love that Cammalleri called him "primetime".

  P.K.'s response to Richards comments show that, despite the fact that he's a rookie, he shows greater maturity.  That ought to frustrate Richards even more. :)

  I have to agree with Johnny.  I'm really surprised at how worked up you are over the trading of Halak.  While I think he's a fine goaltender, I'm not sure what you expected the brass to do.  Maybe they did send him a nice gift basket upon departure? ;)

  Seriously though, was there something they could have said or done to have made the unloading of Halak less akin to the dumping of a prom night baby (gasp!)?

  I agree entirely. While I think people are generally too sue- happy, I think this guy has every right to sue Rypien & I'm sure more than one lawyer has contacted him if he needed some convincing. My prediction is 10 games Which I also happen to think would be fair.
