  How does Eller being traded for Halak reflect on Price exactly? I would rather have traded Price for Eller. Price is the 3rd highest (avg salary over contract term) paid goaltender but has cracked the top 10 in stats only once in his 7 year NHL career. He has done TERRIBLE in the playoffs. He has a propensity to let other teams back in the game with ill timed softies. He hasn't shown the ability to steal games EVER. He hasn't shown the ability to elevate his game for the playoffs or big regular season games. He is overpaid mediocrity personified. Boone how do you justify defending him all the time.   WOW someone has a man crush on Crosby. I'm tired of hearing about Crosby frankly. And I'm sick of reporters who wander into editorials like Ned Flanders into church. I mean is sucking up to the entire team and coach part of your job description? Crosby? Great player but he doesn't play for the Habs and he doesn't touch Orr, Gretzky or Lemieux.
