Would love to see Molson pull a jerry jones and tell those who don't like it, it's his team, not "ours" and he will do as he pleases.

Boone: the ultimate bandwagon hopper. Team loses, they are crap, won't make playoffs. Teams wins, they can beat anyone on any given night, they never give up, they know what they are doing yadda yadda.... Extrapolating the current standings, it's going to take 86 points to get in the playoffs. Doable. They will need a little combination of everything that has been missing these 35 games. Luck for one (habs lead the league in posts, 17 for cammi alone among the 29 posts) shootout wins (imagine they would have had a 50% record like the last 2 years, they would be 7th), no injuries (they lead the league in man games lost), power play goals (seems to be coming along now, 20% since kaberle). They have top notch Pk (#2), good 5-5(#8), good d(#9). All these little things add up and make difference between playoffs or not.

One of the Rds clowns says they should have called up clement jodion to coach. Worst record in the AHL. Dead last with a team cunner took to the semifinals. But he parle le francais tabernac.

The only people talking about the Hanglish coach are the talking heads. The next time they want an all PQ they should ponie up the cash for the team. Big talkers who do squat when the chips are down.

Like Jerry jones did in Dallas when he bought the cowboys and was asked what he would do with "their team". He answered "it ain't your team, it's my team!". If the French wanted an all PQ team, then they should have ponied up the cash for it. Just like they didnt with the Al's, or the Impact. Big talkers who can't back up squat.

Just win baby. Thats what counts. If the French wanted an all French team from janitor to president then one if them should have ponied up the cash for it. It's molsons team, not the brewery, but the guy. His cash, he can do what he wants and he's decided winning is way more important then combing the Q for another inexperienced coach just because. Glad they broke the mold at last. The outraged politicos and pressmen will eventually find something else to bitch about and if there is another coach, his only French requirement should be oui, non, bonjour, merci. That's it. They need to get the best candidate, not the best of what's left. Tabernac!

A quick look at capgeek shows that they have 23 million before a cap hike (assuming the annual 2-3 million bump) to sign the RFA price, Subban, Eller and ufa George's. 17 million just for those 4 leaves you 6 for the rest if the support staff before a cap bump. Let's say 8. With gill, moen, campolli and ak walking, and low cost guys replacing them, this trade doesn't hurt finances. Ultimately, there is always the bury them in the ahl or khl solution but I don't think they would even need to go the route.

All this crying for a 6th defenseman traded for another 6th who is slightly younger, may have a point shot and earns slightly more. If it works out great, of not, you cant tell me spacek can do better. Ultimately if he sucks and cap is an issue you can send him off to the khl.

Kaberle for spacek. They are the same player except kaberle has a point shot. That's about it. Both suck, old and soft. The salaries are about the same too.

I said it before and I will again: imagine for a minute the steinbrenners swallowing something like this against the Yankees or jerry jones against the cowboys. That's right, the attorneys would be sharpening there pencils.
