  Last night was the first time this year I felt embarrassed as a Habs fan. We attempted to do what we get on every other team for doing; got dirty after the game was out of hand. Only thing that made it worse is, once we did, we got our butts handed to us in THAT aspect of the game as well. A thoroughly embarrassing performance. I know some people like the goonery and what not, and to each his own; but personally I think last night's performance will make it very difficult to call out the Bruins/Leafs/Flyers the next time they decide to take liberties with our players without coming across as completely hypocritical....and that makes me sad.   This is where you see if certain people actually watch hockey or if they just watch the Habs. If Carey Price makes that play, it's unimaginable that any quality goalie makes mistakes like that and he would be labelled as a non-money goalie and choke artist. The reality is every great player has bad games, streaks, plays. Remember this before you run another player out of Montreal. The Montreal Canadiens: sporting the best AND worst fans since 1909!

Always nice to see this type of post still exists; the type that once was more common and made HIO the most enjoyable forum on the internet for Habs fans. You know, before all the childish "i'm right, you're wrong", "so and so sucks", and "if you don't think 'this' then you're a 'that'" posts became the predominant form of communication The Montreal Canadiens: sporting the best AND worst fans since 1909!

  Price is a great goalie. Budaj is a very good goalie and has been a great backup this year. Habs goaltending stinks tonight. Those three facts are irrefutable. Now can we stop with all the overreactions, and get back to just watching hockey?
