  I'm not gonna listen to anything Damien Cox say's. Do these guys have anything to back this up? Because as I see written here, most Canadians have a bit of a warped perception of the two Florida teams. For example. The ownership group that owns the Panthers also owns the Bank Atlantic Center. That means that they make big money off of concerts and other events. So you see the Panthers are just a piece of their revenue stream. So, I'd like a concrete article or something that quotes the owners as saying they are in trouble, otherwise, I don't buy it. I would have heard about it here in South Florida.

  all that article says is that the two Florida teams are amongst the lowest in gate revenue? Ummm, doesn't everyone know that? The article also say's: " Florida sports teams (non-football edition) are never going to be among the league leaders in revenue, as there are so many other sports teams locally to compete with. That doesn't necessarily mean that the teams are unsustainable or unhealthy; the Lightning have a strong local fanbase that has been re-energized by their playoff run and the Tampa Bay Times Forum renovations, and even the Panthers are seeing better attendance now that they're actually a competitive team."
