Why does our style of play now differ so much, or feels like it does anyway, compared to the seasons first 5-6 of games?

Just saw on NHL network that Whitney from PHX is also a UFA alongside Shane Doan. What are your thoughts on Whitney: Shoots right-handed, 5"10 | 185lbs ? He is a LW who earned 1.8M last season.

Ah never took that to consideration. Either way, he does manage to get a deal and produce up to par. Oh well.

Just saw the Sharks vs Stars highlights and I can't see why teams can't hold onto Dominic Moore. He had about 2 assists that game, he played relatively well with us, did the same in Tampa... Doesn't seem to be the type of player that will rock the boat in the locker room either. What do you guys think?

His agent, from what I've understood of him in the past years, likes to stir the pot/rock the boat. A lot.

2012 is starting off on a good note! 3 friends and I are headed to Boston on Thursday to catch the game! I was wondering if anyone knew of places to be over the course of the day before game time; which boulevards, areas, cafes or restaurants to visit?? I've been there once before and explored the Harvard University area, it was pretty nice. If anyone has any thoughts and suggestions, please go ahead and share! You should see my friends and I holding a couple of cardboards with one of them displaying RDS to get a definite pass on TV! Cheers

A great game to watch and an incredible performance, by Eller, to witness! I found it odd that the Antichambre fellas were a little sour on the PK and Price triple low five. I would say, Let the kids have fun.
