  I dont want to sound rude Hobie, but have you ever spent some time around a hockey team? I'm not trying to say you haven't, I'm just asking. These mentorship roles are very common. And that is exactly what we witnessed last season. Ask any player who the biggest leaders are in the room. I would be willing to bet that most if not all players say Gill's name amongst others. Also, Subban's body language last year showed he VERY much cared about what Gill had to say. Gill has been in this role before in Pitts.
