    I had written something long up earlier, but a site server error got it all lost during posting. grumble grumble. Anyhow, Maybe the draft choices will make us this summer and the next one, maybe not. I suppose only time will tell. Here is however a small piece as to what I believe is the problem with our team. I feel that (and maybe it has been mentioned before) that we've lost the winning mentality and gone to farming for other teams. It's a sound short term business move but ruins franchises in the long haul. As a clear example of what is needed (again, in my opinion), we look to Sir Alex Ferguson of Manchester United, a team I love to hate. During his time with ManU, Luis Saha played this one game against Everton where he managed to score two goals for ManU in the first half. As he walked off the field and into the dressing room, he felt damn proud of all this, only to be ripped a new one by Ferguson for lack of skills and dedication. It's that demand nothing but full perfection and at all times, especially when they are winning, that characterizes a winning team. I would love to see that from our management.

    Black and white? Alright, we had nothing, and now we have, something. Until proven otherwise, that is, once he has PLAYED for us, you need to start not trying to be our GM. Which, if I'm not mistaken, you never have been, nor will be. :)

    Coming from a former Montrealer, now living in Norway, I too would gladly help out as I use this service to keep up with my team from way too far away.  I have to agree with VancouverHab that HIO should at least consider the option.
