In an interview earlier this season which was posted on this site, Patrick Roy stated quite firmly that he is NOT interested in the Manager's job of the Canadiens. He would listen to the Canadiens regarding the coaching job as he wants to be close to the ice, be in the room/bench with the guys, etc. He joked that his wife is the manager at home so he has no experience being a manager. Where is the Forsberg kid. There has been some mention of him. Just wondering.

OK, I voted for tanking. If we are going to tank, I am not going to watch another game. I cannot watch and hope someone is going to score on Carey or hope that we don't score. It just isn't in my being as a Habs fan. I will wait until the game is over and read the results and read posts on this site, which are very informative and for the most part worthy. But, I cannot watch the Habs play and hope they lose. BTW, I might just buy my "You Gotta Believe" t-shirt.

I voted NO. There is a lot to be excited about being a Habs fan. Always is, it's just a bit of a rough time right now.

I will agree with any post which states that PG made the right choice in trading Halak. Carey Price is young and already recgonized as an elite goalie in the league. He has been in the league for three years and has made three all star appearances, for example. We need to sign Carey P. to as long as a contract as we can. I remember Steve Penny having an great Playoff but really did not do much after that.
