Please put "hate" on the back burner. We have enough hate going around without "hating" people who earn their living playing hockey. I would suggest "strong dislike of his attitudes or abilities" if I would be allowed to do so. Regards, Fred

Fred D April 18, 2013 at 3:18 pm I am inclined to think we are throwing the baby out with the bath water. Every CH team always has a slump, with few notable exceptions. We “clinched” and everybody on the team sighed in relief and “let go” a notch. That is human nature. Having watched this game for more years than I like to admit, I feel that this “glitch” is better now than part way into the playoffs. I see we did score some goals against Pittsburg and I saw some rare fire show out from Carey Price when he “launched” himself to his left in the last period to make an outstanding save; this after his friend PK showed us a few moves of a pugilistic nature before being pitched out of the game. Sometimes being angry enough helps the focus, sort of the opposite to “chill out”. It is impossible to be that good that long and just “go bad” and slide into oblivion. I admit that that we may have been playing over our heads for a bit, but so what? In this game anybody can beat anybody on any given night, and our stats seem to indicate that we have had a good share of “given nights”. Interesting finish to this season, methinks!

I think Milan Lucic ruined him. He was never the same after that beating.

Thank you for this post. This is the kind of thought out material that brings me to this site.

With all due respect; This reminds me of the goal-tending we got from Christobal Huét. Damn, that was tough to watch, and you just knew what was happening!
