Sorry habstrinifan, the Bruins don't get it and their fans act as though they are still the reining Stanley Cup Champions even though their cup win was four years ago. The Summer of 2011 in Boston was absolutely unbearable (pun intended) if you lived in the area. I am sure that it's no fun being around Leaf and Sens fans, but trust me Bruins fans are more evil, just like the team that they root for..... "Gardez la Foi! Keep the Faith!"

Beelzedeno plays for the Bruins, so clearly they are the greater Evil. "Gardez la Foi! Keep the Faith!"

Given that his cap hit is 4 Million, you could certainly make an argument for getting rid of him in favor of the space. I think that MB probably values the 4 Mill in cap savings for next year right now more than he does PAP, but I could certainly be wrong about that.... "Gardez la Foi! Keep the Faith!"

He has been lights out in the shootout, but apart from that his shooting percentage is at 8 % which is 50% lower than his career shooting percentage of 12%. And yes, I do think that shooting percentage is an important stat for someone who is suppose to be a scorer. I don't have a problem with giving him a chance, but he has to shoot better if he is going to stay in the lineup. "Gardez la Foi! Keep the Faith!"

I like Pleks Hobie, and he does a great job against Krejci in particular. He might be up to the task against Kopitar or Getzlaf but I would want to have Eller on the roster in case he couldn't handle one or the other of them. "Gardez la Foi! Keep the Faith!"

Here is a poll question for you. Let's just say for the sake of argument that the Habs get to the Cup Finals (which won't be easy). Who matches up better against Anze Kopitar 6'3" 225lbs or Ryan Getzlaf 6'4" 218 lbs? A) David Desharnais B) Tomas Plekanec C) Lars Eller I hope that MB asks himself this question before he makes an imprudent trade. "Gardez la Foi! Keep the Faith!"

Totally agree about the Rags. Watched the last 5 minutes of there game against the Yotes. 3-3 game and Stepniack makes an impressive play going to the net to get the game winner. I realize that most posters are not real hot on Eric Cole, but I think that the Habs definitely need another "gun" who isn't afraid to go to the net. Some of Cole's mindset issues stemmed from the fallout after the lockout that left him disenchanted. I am not saying that MB should definitely trade for him, but I would not rule it out either, especially if the other options dry up. He is apparently in great shape, having a good year and playing for a new contract. If you don't want to try to re-sign him on July 1 you don't have to.... "Gardez la Foi! Keep the Faith!"

The concern about Tinordi has been foot speed and puck movement in his own end and the speed of the game last night seemed to leave him lost and overmatched. It is the only game since his call up that I thought that he looked out of place on the ice. He is still a work in progress..... "Gardez la Foi! Keep the Faith!"

I like Petry and would do the deal for Fucale IF Petry was not a rental. Maybe MB could get permission to try to negotiate an extension, but I doubt Petry would go for it. He seems most likely to be headed to Detroit where he grew up and his father pitched for the Tigers...... "Gardez la Foi! Keep the Faith!"

The Jackets can't afford to PAY the 25 Mill, the Leafs can and are happy to get the cap relief...... "Gardez la Foi! Keep the Faith!"
