  Most all of us understand the importance of having Francophone players on the Habs roster...it's common sense. That said, it's pretty pathetic that Bouillion and Desharnais are the best Francophone players that the Habs can put on the ice while other teams poach first rate Francophone players right in the Habs back yard.... Giroux, Couturier, Letang just to name a few. It is inexcusable for the Habs to miss out on local talent because of sloth or lack of due diligence when they should have the most thorough information on Quebec amateurs of all the teams in the league. I suspect MB understands this and hopefully has taken steps to correct the problem. "Elever le flambeau!...Raise the Torch!"

  Thanks Alex, it just kind of sucks that he was out for the playoffs and now we learn that he will miss the start of next season as well. All the more reason to beef up on the back line and up front as well I guess... "Elever le flambeau!...Raise the Torch!"

  Does anyone know what the reason is for the delay in Emelin's surgery? I read in the Hickey article that at this point he will miss the first 2 months of the season. I am sure that there must be a reasonable explanation- just wondering......... "Elever le flambeau!...Raise the Torch!"
