Yes, of couse they are going to do that, they were down by 2 goals with 10 mins left in the game and they knew it was all but over, so why not try to lure Montreal in to a penalty... This is where WHITE needed to keep cool rather than playing right in to what Buffalo wanted.. And guess what, it worked for them too... So, saying Buffalo was cheap, I disagree, they just did what every other struggling team would do... Oh, and the logo in the locker room doesn't take stupid penalties and lose a game for a team, White does... ONCE A HAB, FOREVER A HAB!!! - Comment on About last night ...
I think a "donkey" is more appropriate than a goat for the display picture of this article... If you know what I mean..;) ONCE A HAB, FOREVER A HAB!!! - Comment on About last night ...
Disagree, White did cost both goals as the stupid penalty he took got Buffalo back in to it, which in-turn helped on the 4th. People need to look at the whole picture and not just "right then". As like what the write-up says above, we are not a strong enough team to have crap like that happen and still win. So, in a nutshell, the weak link in a chain.... Well, you know the rest... BS. Jamming the net did not cause this loss, White did. It was a penalty he should NOT have taken and put the team in a disadvantage. We could all see (including the players) that the goaltending was weak on our side, so you don't get thrown in to the box for 4 min... He needs to sit for a bit as he costed us a point. Totally agree. The penalty White took hurt the team, nothing more. You don't get your a## thrown in to the box for 4 mins with 10 mins left in the game when you have a lead like that just because someone pushed one of your players... That was the key turning point of the game. White needed to be called out for that as this loss cannot be blamed totally on him, but he helped in it a great deal. I would have NO problem finishing at the bottom of the league again during this shortened season to get another top 3 pick. We need a couple of these as well as a few buy-outs to get us back on the right track. ONCE A HAB, FOREVER A HAB!!! - Comment on Price gets fantasy shutout
No, meaning things need to change. I can't count how many times I have read about how hopefully the new CBA will help correct the Gomez issue, but people also do not want anything to happen to the key players like Parise. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. ONCE A HAB, FOREVER A HAB!!!
