  I don't get why this is surprising anyone. A) THN has consistently not predicted anything right since, well, ever. B) That said, unless the Habs sign a winger to balance the loss of Cammalleri and provide a decent complement for Pleks, we remain an one line team, and such teams rarely fare well. If the Habs don't sign someone decent (Bourque sucks a pigs arse) than I don't have much more hope than THN. C) That said, this is the parity league, so the difference between a 13th place finish and an 8th place finish is almost nothing, a timely set of ties and wins can make all the difference... and once a team makes the playoffs anything can happen. D) with the caveat that one line teams never make it deep in the playoffs, which brings me back to B and how much Bourque needs to be demoted or bought out or hit by lightning or a bus or something because of how little he brings to the equation.

  Except that this is saddling Philly with a 14 year contract, a colossal cap hit, and basically no draft picks for the forseeable future. I don't think ANY player is worth that, not even Weber. Also, I don't think Philly really expects to get him, now that I think about it. I wouldnt have been excited. I would have thought: wow, the ignoramus section of HIO will LOVE this one. And apparently I wouldve been right. The FLyers are arseholes.
