Gomez has played 138 minutes and 46 seconds of power play time since his last goal. Just an FYI.

Habs have 9 of 12 points in December. At this pace, they will have 110 points by the end of the season. No sweat!

I was also at the game, and I must say that the sheer arrogance and xenophobia of the people in Northern California is astonishing. I was getting heckled at the bars prior to the game about not having a green card and being taunted in all sorts of manners for being a "Canadian". There's one problem, though--I'm not a Canadian. I am an American. It was just really sad and depressing behavior from Californians. I used to associate Northern California with being liberal and tolerant and respectful of others, but no longer can I. I really don't understand where this sense of entitlement and air of superiority comes from. It's not like the franchise has won any Stanley Cups in their 20 year existence...

The players hate Martin, and he is too old and stubborn and crusty to relate to them. Last year, Kirk Muller was the buffer for the players and was their advocate. This year, he is no longer there and the players really don't give a darn about Martin. Martin needs to be fired. Bad choices for PP players and Too Many Men on the ice calls up the wazoo are inexcusable.

This team misses Kirk Muller.

Hey Mike, Teller was not eaten by the fish. The lie was the exploding wine bottle.

It's preseason for crying out loud. Can we stop with the "lower body injury" crap? Is that asking too much? -

It's a good thing that Boone lives in the basement.

The real question is if this guy has the approval of "James from DDO"?

I agree Boone. Boston made up for its ineptitude on the PP in the faceoff circles in the series. Montreal has some talented young centermen, but until they can learn to win big faceoffs, they will be a liability. Larry and DD are dynamic, but I am not sure if their lack of prowess in the circle can make up for the rest of their game. As frustrating as Yanic Perreault was for the Habs, he was someone that could be counted of in the circle. It will be interesting to see how the off-season shakes up, and to see if Gauthier makes some sort of move for a reliable faceoff man.
