I wish those past 3 games were in the regular season; they would've start off great!

You should love the guy when he's on the ice, not for his connections. ----- Thank you Les Canadiens for the most wonderful year I've seen and cheered for since '93. The future is bright and is on the right path for tradition and glory. Enjoy your summer and we'll be here to cheer next season!

Who's Niskanen? Did I see him on any game last season/playoffs? ----- Thank you Les Canadiens for the most wonderful year I've seen and cheered for since '93. The future is bright and is on the right path for tradition and glory. Enjoy your summer and we'll be here to cheer next season!

I don't think Bergevin asked Markov to do more or even give him the 'C'. Right now Markov's happy with the way it came in staying his long career in one and only city he loves. And I'm sure he's happy with the 'A' on his chest, but he can be more vocal and can help the youngsters to produce experience on the ice. The 'C', that's up to the team soon. No need to be quick on the decision. Remember that one of the team's concepts is leadership, and every one of the players must have it. It's actually helping the team in bringing leadership to everyone, and that bring also the maturity into play. Putting the 'C' on a player and it takes the leadership only from him while the others can play whatever they want. The Rangers got far in the playoffs with just three 'A' but also get more leaders from other players. I'll bet there will be no captain this Fall season. ----- Thank you Les Canadiens for the most wonderful year I've seen and cheered for since '93. Either treat Gorges whatever they want, or Subban will walk off to another team. ----- Thank you Les Canadiens for the most wonderful year I've seen and cheered for since '93. Gorges' not a UFA, he's on his 3rd of his four years. Big difference. ----- Thank you Les Canadiens for the most wonderful year I've seen and cheered for since '93. The future is bright and is on the right path for tradition and glory. Enjoy your summer and we'll be here to cheer next season!

This is a surprise to me, I never thought that Gorges would be out of the team. He's a very efficient teammate and I do wish him the best in his future career. Talk about a huge sacrifice to settle a big contract to a superstar player (please, don't think that wasn't the only reason for it!). So now with Gionta possibly out, along with Gorges and Brière, the Captaincy is up to anyone. To me, there's may be no Captain this coming season. I figure the three A's would definitely be Markov, Prust, and Plekanec. I see Pacioretty is coming in his prime along with DD, but anyone of the two has the A with get a lot more pressure. Subban is very passionate and emotional, and Gallagher is still a bit young to have the A on their chests. This coming season is the season of youth, but I hopefully will see a few veterans to teach the youngsters the pressure and dedication in every game, and let them know that the team is still in progress to be an elite team. Suitable line-ups: Pacioretty - Desharnais - Parenteau Galchenyuk - Eller - Gallagher Bourque - Plekanec (A) - Weise Moen - Prust (A) - Bournival Markov (A) - Tinordi Subban - Beaulieu Pateryn - Emelin Price, Tokarski I came close to putting Scherbak on the line-up, but that would depends on how he performs at the training camp. There may be one-two rookie forwards coming up as replacements, like so for the past two years. I put each young D with a veteran, to help boost their confidence and always be there to teach a bit on the ice. If Weaver would've sign for another year, he would be another veteran helpful for the youngsters and yet he can be a perfect 7th defenseman. Budaj will be next to go, even though he's a great back-up to Price. But since signing up Tokarski for another few years, the team must decide which back-up: - Tokarski's in, and he'll be the challenger to Price on a No.1 goalie spot - Budaj's in, and Tokarski will move to another team when they wanted an rising goalie, while Budaj will never play another playoff game if ever Price will injure again. I am very curious and excited to see the team in the Fall, although my hope will not be at the top. From the changes and the injuries they had before, this will be one of the wild card teams, come playoff time. P.S. At least I'm glad Gorges will not be a Maple Leaf this Fall. He deserves better. ----- Thank you Les Canadiens for the most wonderful year I've seen and cheered for since '93. The future is bright and is on the right path for tradition and glory. Galchenyuk and Galchenyuk2 will be the most awesome duo soon. It's Eastern Promises, Habs' style! ----- Thank you Les Canadiens for the most wonderful year I've seen and cheered for since '93. I forgot that Saku is a natural centre, which means it's too much for the Habs. But hearing that Eller is RFA, is Anahiem one of his choices? Maybe a trade in the works? ----- Thank you Les Canadiens for the most wonderful year I've seen and cheered for since '93. The future is bright and is on the right path for tradition and glory.
