- Comment on Patrick Roy to coach Avalanche: report
You know, you look at St-Pat's final two years, both 63 games played, great winning percentage, 0.920 and 0.925 save percentage. I couldn't understand it then and I don't understand it now: WHY did he retire at 38? He had 2-3 stellar years left in him for sure... - Comment on Liveblog: Game 5 – Senators end Canadiens season
I was mad in the first period. It was clear to me they were bought. I felt better in the second when went ahead, but that didn't last... - Comment on Liveblog: Game 5 – Senators end Canadiens season
I agree Johnny. We had the Big Three and toughness in front too. That's why I added that we just need a couple tough guys more. We need someone to deal with Neil. Without Prust tonight, we've noone (Blunden?) In the long term, with Tinordi and Emelin, plus Subban who can hit, I feel we'll be hard to play against. But we need two Prusts' up front! - Comment on Liveblog: Game 5 – Senators end Canadiens season
People are clamouring for us to be bigger, tougher. To become like our opponents. To follow the trend. In the 70's, this trend occurred. The Broad St Bullies and Big Bad Bruins were the teams to beat. Mtl crushed that trend by winning 4 straight cups with skill and speed. That is what MB is trying to do (again) and I support it. We just need a couple tough guys to protect the rest. - Comment on Liveblog: Game 5 – Senators end Canadiens season
This year, Mtl was a much greater Canadian Threat than Ottawa to go far. I think Bettman/NHL "helped" Ottawa to keep Canada down. - Comment on Liveblog: Game 5 – Senators end Canadiens season

"For reasons that are still unclear, the league backed off the penalty standard it had imposed coming out of lockout II and, that year, the Bruins wore the Canucks down to a nub." - Comment on Price won't play again in Senators series
If Galchenyuk must play wing, play him with Pleks. Or play him with DD. He's got so much potential being wasted right now, it just kills me. Frankly, my preference would be to see him centering Gallagher and Pacioretty.
