    1. I hope gauthier could do that, hopefully someone who can help get gomer out of his current slump, adding a scoring threat to his wing to compliment Cammy would be a huge plus. Despite our lack of size up front, only the inconsistent play from our second line has been below par. cant complain though, we are winning and there's no need to be a stickler for that..

    2. Why would he be, he's playing at a top level; he's leading or is at the top of the charts when it comes to goaltending statistics and he's a fan favourite ( i still don't understand when some bell centre trolls boo'ed him during preseason.....stupid)

    4. Didn't we already complete this failed experiment.... he was lazy and inconsistent when he was in his prime, he's over the hill now, would he be better now?!?! I highly doubt so. Remeber Plecks when he played with kovy... and wht about ak??  He chose Ottawa for a Million extra buck let them keep him. Im sure whtever cap space we have left can be BETTER spent somehwere else, this is a TEAM and the players we have play as a unit, kovalev plays for himself..

    5. Ask JM that, he'll give you a better answer than I could LOL (I hope he does tho)

Completely agree P.K has been phenomenal, on a defense filled with veterans [Gill, Hammer, Spaceman] he really sticks out but in a very good way. His presence on the ice is always felt, whether its for sticking up for teamates, getting in the opponents faces, his offensive zone rushes (lol he looks like a running back sometimes with those 1 hand on the stick stiff arms he gives people). If I didn't know any better I would have thought he was at least a 5 year vet the way he composes himself on and off the ice

I don't really post often on HIO, but i read through the comments a lot. Bugs I find your post are quite entertaining and I have to admit I don't always agree with your posts, but I have to agree with you here. Give Poolio a chance. Gomer and Gio have been playing together for the better part of 10 years the chemistry is there and there's no reason to split them (ex: inserting eller at centre). BUT for Pouliot to even have a chance with that duo he MUST play with them, that means playing for a longer stretch (not just 1 or 2 shifts), maybe give him 10-12 games of constantly playing with gio/gomer. Patience goes a long way and I don't believe going the "carbo route" works (i.e. A revolving door of players on 1 line). We have no other option becasue at this stage in his young career Eller is much better playing centre I think. Give poolio a chance, if it doesnt work then at least you can say you gave the guy a shot. park him in front of the net (he can score garbage goals like he did agains the sens). Pyatt isnt the answer for our 2nd scoring unit...
We REALLY need this line to work, you can't expect to have cammy-plecks-ak to score almost 1/2 your goals for the remainder of the season.

Unless they can insert berkman in the lineup and he miraculously becomes his old self..... but i highly doubt tht, plus no one can match teixiera in his defensive capabilities, im still praying..... GO YANKS

I wouldn't pay too much attention to what tsn says, if i remember correctly (correct me if i am wrong) tsn said the habs would've missed the playoffs last year, i wouldn't read too much into what "experts" say... always remember this, you really can't take a network too seriously anymore (tsn?) once they go out and hire mike milbury, the second I see milbury's face on tv i instantly turn away, you can become severely mentally ill if you have to sit and listen to what milbury has to say about hockey.
