Whoever the next GM will be better start thinking about drafting a goalie. That has to be the fifth or sixth game this year that Price cost a game by letting in a soft one at the wrong time. Given that this is his real sophomore year, and the rest of the team lacks talent, one can forgive - for now. However, a good team plans ahead and since there is nothing in the minors, a good draft is imperative. Aegyder
  • Comment on About last night ...
It's time to call a spade a spade. Mr. Price has let the team down at critical points too many times this year. Last night was a good example. 3 goals on 10 shots is not good goaltending and the other players are starting to play afraid. There is little hope for this team, this year and in the future, what with the number of long contracts to less than useful players. Go Impact Go! Aegyder

It is difficult to see how any of this can turn out positively. One feels sorry for two coaches that were set up to fail by the incompetence of the general manager(s). At least JM has his $2+ million payoff, but poor RC will end up being blamed for the inevitable failure of the team. No system/coach can overcome the absence of talent and lack of talent is the biggest problem with this version of the Habs. I was in agreement with BG blowing up the team a few seasons ago, however, the way it was done then and since leaves a lot to be desired. Good luck Mr. C.! Your serve Mr. M.! Aegyder
  • Comment on New Rule 48 could be just as confusing
I could not agree more with TomNickle. I do not understand why the rules have to change during the playoffs. I really hate the refereeing in the Boston-Vancouver final. The hockey morons applaud that no penalties are being called and blatant cross-checks, slashes, hooks and interference etc. have again become the norm. In no other sport are there two sets of rules.
