While he has all the skills, and the size, I have always wondered about his "hockey IQ". And I'm just afraid that is something that isn't teachable.

Maybe someone already posted this, but Rick Mercer nailed it on how to watch hockey now. That was me last night. http://www.cbc.ca/player/Shows/Shows/The+Rick+Mercer+Report/ID/2576856181/

Kind of ironic that under "You might also like" is the link for "Breaking down how to watch the Habs on TV". The article has a link to a TV schedule for all 82 games. Last nights game was supposed to be shown on City Montreal (which I can't get) and RDS (which showed baseball). Serious Question: Why would RDS make the switch? Would the RDS viewership really be higher with baseball over the Habs? Especially with baseball on 20+ channels?

One of those 9 minors was for embellishment when he was speared in the **** by Marchand. I'll give him a pass on that one.

Sure, I can do that, but it's a little late when I turn on RDS at game time and its a baseball game. I spent the summer wondering what combination of channels I needed to see all 82 games. I though I had it figured out and was good to go. Even while the game was on, the NHL.com site shows it as being on RDS. Why does it have to be so confusing???

I hear Rick Mercer summed it up great last night on his show. I didn't see it, but we're not alone.

Rumor has it there was a game last night. At the start of the year, I was assured that since I'm in the Habs Region (New Brunswick) and with Rogers, I could see all 82 games in French split between RDS and TVA. I can also see some games on City TV, CBC and Sportsnet. So last night RDS bumps the game to RDS2, in favor of the World Series (which was already available on 20+ channels!!!) and Rogers doesn't carry RDS2. Also I can't get City Montreal which supposedly carried the game. HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT CHANNELS YOU NEED???

I am so glad the boys came back tonight, because I hate any team winning like the old NJ Devils. I thought Lemaire was behind the Wings bench. And Galchenyuk is becoming a beast! Quincy really thought he owned the kid!

Some people here are talking about the lack of crowd noise. Now I know some people don't have a choice of feeds, but the RDS feed has lots of noise, almost drowning out Pierre Houde at times. The Sportsnet feed is typical Sportsnet. They seem to lower the crowd noise so you can hear the play-by-play better. I'd rather hear the crowd, (and RDS doesn't have a ticker hiding part of the screen(.
