- Comment on Liveblog: Canadiens beat Panthers 1-0 in OT
I agree with Clay. More and more i find the PK comments have no basis in reality and must be motivated by something irrational. Race? Jealousy? - Comment on Nokelainen, Nash re-signed for one year
Let's face facts. 1. Gomez is gone. 2. Nokelainen is a bandaid so some others can gain experience playing more minutes in another league. 4-6 minutes a game and taking some key faceoffs won't help prospects develop. 3. Reality check: Galchenyuk will not make the team. What this also means is that we won't be pursuing a Konopka or other face-off specialist...or at least its unlikely. Let's hope Nokie spends the summer working on his draws to improve his percentage their.....its how he can be most effective for us. - Comment on Nokelainen, Nash re-signed for one year
This kinda makes me want to go and give them my hard earned money. - Comment on RFA White signs; Galchenyuk headlines development camp
Just a note that the release by the Canadiens says that all the sessions are open to the public........don't forget your BBQ! "The Montreal Canadiens announced Tuesday that 14 players will participate in the second of two development camp sessions, set to take place from June 28-30, at the Bell Sports Complex, in Brossard. All on-ice sessions are open to the public." - Comment on Liveblog: The battle for 14th place goes to a shootout, and Islanders win
I like this post. its the cold hard reality of today's NHL that middle of the road is the norm and a few injuries or bad bounces can put you in the stanley cup final or out of the playoffs depending on how they go. Last year the 2 cup finalists got through the first round in game 7 overtime....what does that say. Ronin - Comment on Habs icon Jean Béliveau hospitalized
Hear hear! Get well soon. We shan't see his like again...mores the pity. - Comment on Pacioretty, Tretiak, Ovechkin featured in Friday's gala charity auction
I don't know whether he would be good or not. I don't know if the article was written with a bias or agenda or not. What I do know is that after 18yrs gimme a break. If we based our opinions of HIO site members on what they did 18yrs ago (or even 18months ago) we'd have a pretty skewed....and wrong....opinion of who they are today. Please...I'm not for or against the guy, just for fairness.
