This wasn't post turkey rust. the team was playing the same disjointed hockey before the break. how quickly we forget... Habs can barely score 5-on-5, evidenced again tonight. They can't afford to suck on the PP. were it not for stellar goaltending by both keepers, this team would be falling out of contention faster than Rob Ford's chances at reelection. Thankful for the win, but the team has to find ways to score. this glaring weakness is only made more obvious when facing western conference powerhouses, a la Blues, Kings and Hawks.

Pretty sure the better teams won, no?

Everyone in a red jersey sucks tonight. Habs in a full season might have faded in the second half, possibly not making the playoffs. (Albeit injuries haven't helped in the post season either.)

Too bad for the loss and the way in which it happened. Refs dictate too many outcomes in NHL hockey. With 3 must-wins ahead, the Habs are facing a formidable task, especially with several players nursing wounds. It's comparable to climbing the north face of Everest with shoddy equipment: it would take nothing short of a miracle! Take solace in the fact that they pulled off a regular season miracle by finishing 1st in their division and second in the conference! Agree with Boone and many other posters that the team needs a few bigger bodies with some skills.

The whole team stunk tonight. They were skating in sand, second to pucks, no drive to the net, no screens or remote signs of disrupting Anderson, distracted all night and playing a style they are most definitely not designed to play. Price was suspect on at least 2 goals, making Pageau look like Gretzky in his prime. But, the loss does not hang on him. The D was small and soft and the forwards small and slow. What a joke! This team wins by speed and puck support, along with a speedy transition game. None of these were evident tonight. Therrien needs to forget about the walrus and think about calming and refocusing his guys. Hopefully they can transform this horror show into a happy ending next game. one more thing... officiating was sketchy, even before the brawling. Let's hope they get their heads together, too.

Why is it that when someone says something that's edgy or controversial he/she is labelled a troll? If you want to argue his points, then go ahead. But the quick to judge replies are childish, don't you think? Can't we just agree to disagree? People have vastly different opinions and personal assessments of the team. Discuss them or ignore them, but leave the name calling at the playground.

At least 2 softies. The Latendresse goal was result if awful rebound on mediocre shot. Great saves are nice, but great ones at key moments is critical to take a team far into playoffs. Price is off, no doubt.

Sens take this in 4 if Price plays all 4. AHL calibre tending. 2nd goal was demoralizing and Habs sagged after that one.
