Yes very cool the guys do this. Eller one of my favourite Habs too. More worthwhile than DD who I have no clue is getting shifts. Coaches favourite I guess eh? How we will ever unload this guy will be as a 3rd/4th line center. Hope Bergevin is making plans to trade him. To admin: I cannot post to this site from my workplace unless I use a proxy. I don't know why people keep thinking it's the offence or defence. Sure the obviousness of the situation is either aren't performing however it's not either. It's the coach, it's the coaching staff. They suck. Therrien is clearly incapable of turning his team around. It's not going to work sending everyone down or sending them to the press box. He is incapable of motivating the guys, he can't turn them around. They resort to mixing lines hoping that by some fluke some guys are going to mix together and break the groove they're in. It's only worked for them a couple of times. This team needs a new coach someone capable and knowledgeable about his players. This team needs a coach who talks who can kick his players in the ass to perform. Therrien's last job he was fired because he could not use his players properly. It's the same thing over and over again with a new team. Bergevin needs to wake up and do the right thing. I'll be very surprised if Therrien is not gone next year. Bergevin is a great GM but he really needs a slap in the face to wake up and do something about his coach. I said it from the start, Therrien sucks. Get all the players you want, if you can't coach them nothing is going to change. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur
  • Comment on What you can learn from watching 78 TV commercials during a Habs game (2014-11-13 08:29:21)
Another reason I watch the game via live streams. They cut the commercials. I don't think though it's any worse than RDS who plays the exact same commercials every single game. Do you know, I don't eat at Subway anymore because of RDS. They turned me off with that stupid monkey on their commercials that has absolutely nothing to do with Subway or subs. I'd like to strangle that stupid monkey. Or how about the dummy who can't open a beer can and some crazy sexy girl comes and helps him. Like ya, that's reality. LOL! RDS is horrible, they have to scrape the bottom of the barrel for French commercials. At least there's a slight more variety with Rogers. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur
  • Comment on Canadiens send Jarred Tinordi down to Hamilton, try new look on power play (2014-11-12 12:28:00)
Well I'm not impressed with the Tinordi situation. When he plays I don't see him do anything wrong. I do see regulars do things wrong. Nothing happens to them. What does that teach the younger players? Oh cool, when I been around a while I can stink and still get lots of ice time. Hmmm. I like Tinordi and I feel bad for the guy. Being brought up and sent down continuously is no way to get confidence. They are ruining a good defenceman. But we're winning so I guess that entitles Bergevin and Therrien to do as they please. Getting Gonchar for Moen, that was a lousy deal. Gonchar is an old man and his game is not what it used to be at all. They should have been able to get more for Moen. One thing I am really getting tired of is how our smallest guys are the only guys who get in front of the net and work for that puck. Where the hell is Pacioretty, skating all over the place. There is only a couple of players who fight in front of the net when it should be all of them. This shooting from the side crap and nobody there for rebounds 90% of the time is idiotic. • Comment on Jarred Tinordi healthy scratch for Canadiens vs. Jets (2014-11-11 13:22:40)
I'm on the fence with this trade. Gonchar is like 40 years old! He has next to no points. Then again, neither does Moen. I'm willing to bet in the case of Moen, he wanted out. He didn't want to play under Therrien. I think he wanted to play more rather than get subbed in here and there. Part of me is glad that Moen is gone and another part worries about this Gonchar and how you know who is going to use him. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur
  • Comment on Jarred Tinordi healthy scratch for Canadiens vs. Jets (2014-11-11 13:09:31)
Therrien sucks, but we'll have to wait for this team to tank for a string of games. Until then he rides the waves and abuses the younger guys. Tinordi should be a regular and I really despise what Therrien is doing. I can't stand Therrien but not much anyone can do about it. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur
  • Comment on Rene Bourque will be healthy scratch for Canadiens vs. Sabres (2014-11-05 13:45:43)
Sad but it is known that Bourque is a guy who plays when he feels like it. Same can be said for others but Bourque really hasn't been overly impressive. I'm surprised he wasn't yanked earlier but then this is MT and who knows what the F is going on in his head. I think Sekac is a better player and he needs the experience. • Comment on Game Within the Game: Therrien’s jerry-built lines don’t work vs. Flames (2014-11-03 13:04:01)
I played both competitive soccer and hockey at the highest levels there were until I couldn't anymore. After that I was an assistant and a coach for a number of years in both soccer and hockey. In my opinion Therrien stinks as a coach. His line shuffling is nothing but a desperate attempt to try and invigorate the guys. Also goes to prove as I said before why he got fired from his last job. He didn't use his players properly. Then when he has a winning combination he changes them. All signs he has no clue what he's doing. He also plays favorites. Another bad coaching choice. To me, Roy should have easily won the coaching job. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur
  • Comment on About last night … (2014-11-03 08:57:18)
Absolutely! I didn't like the choice of Therrien over Roy. Bad choice. Therrien is a lot like Jacques was.. rides the wave. His constant line changes to me tells me he has little confidence in anyone and is always panicking. He sits players he shouldn't. He's horrible to the younger guys. Like Jacques, you have to wait until les boys are on their game. Said it a long time ago, he lost his job last time because he doesn't know how to use what he has. He thinks mixing lines all the time is the way to go. Guys have to play together and build confidence and chemistry together. That's not happening and when it begins to, he changes the lines again. This team wont win a cup with this coach and I think it's painfully obvious. I hear him and Bergevin are buddy buddy so we may have a hindrance to do anything about it. Has anyone seen the footage of Therrien in the dressing room? How the hell anyone understands the guy is beyond me. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur

I don't think I was ever more annoyed with the lousy refs than I was last night and that clearly deliberate headshot on Emelin?! NO CALL!? Seriously... wtf! That guy better get suspended. Talk about hitting someone who's vulnerable. That was blatant he even lifted his arm! I didn't see who hit him, I was sort of lost in that moment, but I hope that guy is a marked man. I hope Emelin drills that dude good next time we meet. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur
