This is all good news. Good decisions and the lineup looks very good. I hope Vanek stays with us as do I hope Subban stays. I hope Vaneks family can figure out something to make it work. The quality of our game is a lot higher and I hope it can continue in that direction. Its nice to see guys clicking together. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur

Horse crap is what the hit was, there was nothing wrong on the hit! There is no elbow to the head nor is Murray trying. Murray is doing nothing less that bending his arm into his own body, bracing for the collision. The guy ran into Murray more than anything. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur

Absolutely. He was trying to pull Parros down. Cheap and very wussy like. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur
  • Comment on Habs’ Prust out for rest of regular season; Galchenyuk moves to centre (2014-03-21 16:17:29)
Holy Canons! He changed the lines again. If I shake my head anymore, people will think I have parkinsons. What is wrong with this coach! Oh right, like others pointed out, he's clueless how to use his players. Just when I thought he finally figured it out too. Oh wait, you guys are getting chemistry together, no no no, that does not working in the book of Therrien, must change must change!! Gosh forbid the team has an off game!!! Sucks about Prust too, very injury prone. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur

I hope MT does not mess with the lines. Team is really doing well the way it is. I think the line combo's right now are very balanced and guys are happy with who they are playing with. It's not a bad thing if all lines are not clicking. Happens. Longer these guys play together the better. Very entertaining hockey, I was sure Roy would walk away with the game but we kept at it. Didn't see what happened to Prust, but I'm sure I'll come across a replay. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur
  • Comment on St. Patrick’s Day at Bell Centre; Habs send Bournival to Hamilton for conditioning (2014-03-18 11:13:39)
I've been around for the last 3 Stanley Cups. Been a fan since I was born because my Dad was a Habs fan and used to live in Montreal and see the games when he was growing up. Kinda no choice. I didn't give up my team for Ottawa Senators like others I knew. Stuck to my Habs like glue. Sadly all my celebrated Habs shirts for Stanley Cups have all deteriorated. My father thinks the habs are doomed to win another one because the brains are just not in Montreal anymore, from F'd up GM's to F'd up coaches to changes in the NHL he's doubtful he'll see another Stanley Cup before he dies. Can't say I blame him much. Lots has changed including the fanbase. These days it's more a popularity contest to keep players on the habs rather than really analyzing their contributions. The game has changed a lot and the habs haven't been in sync with the changes for +20 years now. I personally think we are ok now but coach-wise, no way. We should have had Roy, he'd have been the perfect coach. A real shame that didn't happen. We picked up a coach who is playing the same system as JM (but JM knew it better) and who is known to be horrid with young players and not properly using players. GM or ownership really dropped the ball on picking a coach. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur

Yes oh we are all looking for a Montreal vs Boston, NOT. Why? So they can injure our players and lower our chances of moving on? You know if we start beating them they will get away with bloody murder by the reffs. Screw that, I'd rather play someone else more chance of moving on with the players/roster. Search for stream2watch. Habsonlinetv is an annoying site that is NEVER updated. You can always catch up to 7 different streams on stream2watch. That is my main source for habs games. 99.9% of the time it has the habs games. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur

That was the funniest game ever tonight! Ottawa FAILED big time! The Walrus wasn't too happy either! Oh and Neil must have been ecstatic in the dressing room! Good job big guy! I don't know about you but I thought the goalie's head was going to explode there at the end. Haha! In the end, all we need to do was play for 3-4mins all night and we won the game. LOL! Pacioretty-Desharnais-Vanek Briere-Plekanec-Gionta Galchenyuk-Eller-Gallagher Moen-Prust-Weise Bourque-White-Parros Markov-Emelin Bouillon-Subban Murray-Tinordi Weaver If this is the lineup, we might be ok. This lineup makes sense but needs time to re-sync. Play every game as if it is your last one. Guy Lafleur
