Stan Bowman and Pierre Gauthier have a lot riding on their chosen goalies this season. Both opted to ship out the popular kids. Price is like the kid who's wicked smart but hangs with all the cool kids and doesn't apply himself. Turco is like the ex-football star who still hangs around the school because he has no future and wants to hold on to the past. "Back to school...back to school...to show my GM I'm not a fool..."

Others: Pacioretty....I'd love to see him make the jump back into the lineup this year. If he were to get time he'd probably bump lapierre down to the 4th line and Darche to the bench. Guys like Trotter, Maxwell, Palushaj could all see some time as well while Darche will be on the bench ready and willing at any moment. O'Byrne, Weber, and sometimes Carle will see some 7th D action.

No doubt looking back on it that Perron is better but do you think Max Pac can turn into the PWF he was touted to be? If he can add 15-20 lbs on his 198lb frame he might be able to compete harder. I felt he got tossed around last season too often and needed to work on his balance.
