  I feel bad for kostopoulos for even being in that situation. What is he really supposed to do? Was he just supposed to skate by van ryn at the last second? that would make it look like van ryn deked kosto out of his jock. Obviously the right thing to do in retrospect is to let van ryn go, but if i saw kosto pass up a chance to finish his check, that would come across as kosto not doing his job on the 4th line as an energy player... and with the habs roster, not finishing your plays can lose kosto his spot on the roster. So it really was a tough situation for kostopoulos, and probly a lose lose situation either way. Also, when it all happens within a split second, people are gunna make the wrong decisions. Tough break

  Odd but expected that some fans are bashing the team before the habs even step on the ice for their first game. It will take me a few losses before i can come up with some kind of critisism for the coach and team... the habs really have some harsh fans

  I have also watched a game on that website, but i believe the games are only streamed off that site if they are broadcasted on tv, so i'm not so sure that the game will be on that site tonight

  Good question, i know lapierre's been getting in fights in his last two games so I dont think hes been getting a whole lot of ice time due to penalties, but if chipchura does have another strong game tonight, i would bet that lapierre's spot on the 4th line would be at risk considering that lapierre is the only replaceable centre in the current starting lineup
